Founded in 1992, the Association for Development and Environmental Services (ADES) is a non-governmental, non-political, humanitarian, and environmental development organization based in Joypurhat, Bangladesh.

We work in more than 215 villages across Joypurhat and Naogaon, focusing on children’s education, women’s empowerment, disaster response, environmental protection, and socio-economic development. Our mission is simple: to help vulnerable communities break the cycle of poverty and live with dignity, opportunity, and hope.

Our Main Projects

At ADES, we focus on creating lasting impact through our core initiatives. Our main projects are designed to empower communities, support vulnerable groups, and build a sustainable future across rural Bangladesh.

Children Education Project

We believe that every child deserves the right to education. Through this project, ADES provides free learning materials, coaching support, and community-based programs to ensure that underprivileged children in rural areas can continue their studies and build a brighter future. “Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.”

VWB (VGD) Project

Empowering women is at the heart of sustainable development. Our VWB (VGD) Project supports vulnerable women by providing food assistance, vocational training, and income-generating opportunities. This helps them gain confidence, self-reliance, and a better standard of living for their families. “Strong women build stronger communities.”

Disaster Response Project

Bangladesh is highly vulnerable to floods, cyclones, and other natural disasters. Our Disaster Project ensures quick relief, emergency shelter, and rehabilitation for affected families. We stand with communities in their toughest times and help them rebuild their lives with dignity. “Together, we can turn disaster into hope.”
